Your choice to join our learning ʻohana is a commitment to the vision, mission and core values that are the foundation of our school. Together, we will chart a course for your child’s future grounded in Native Hawaiian cultural values, rich traditions and extraordinary academic pursuits. Where past Hawaiian wisdom meets modern education

As a Native Hawaiian-focused school, Kanu o ka ʻĀina has received a full term of accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for its K-12 program. Kanu is grounded in culture-based education (CBE) practices and seeks to work together to strengthen the Mauli Hawaiʻi to create honua kīpuka within the different places of our lives. Haumāna, kumu, hulu kupuna and ʻohana member participation is essential to fostering comprehensive academic success.

Kauhale is the campus program of Kanu o ka `Āina who serves

K-12 students in person in Waimea, Hawai’i. 

Ka ʻOhā Online Blended Program

Ka ʻOhā is the online and blended on campus program of Kanu o ka `Āina that has various ‘ohana groups throughout the state. Ka ʻOhā serves students in grades K-12 statewide.
